The
Castle (lyrics and
music: Raymond Vincent - Glenn Shorrock - Bruno Libert)
Dragonflies turn circles in the sky, the madness moon cuts through the twilight. Canopies of dripping fantasies hang from the walls and the stone's soft breathing. Stalactites reflect the walls in stalagmites, and the mirrors will reveal Every serpent image of a grinning gargoyle whose eyes weep mercury.
Tower bells alert the sentinels, you have no choice but join the masquerade. Giant bees feed from the silver leaves, the statues turn stare eyeless through the doorway. And it’s left to me to cheat the spinning winning wheel
as it slowly comes to rest writing random patterns of the promise so old, That tears me from my home.
The
Cloister (lyrics and
music: Raymond Vincent - Bruno Libert - Glenn Shorrock)
Man, when
you’re on your way back home,
Look out! You might never arrive.
Oh Guard! ‘Cause even if you don’t know why,
Maybe one day someone takes you from behind.
Many people live to hide behind dividing lines,
It’s tooth for tooth, eye for eye till all are blind.
Did you see the morning papers? Do you know the score?
Would you like to make an estimate how many more?
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor!
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor!
Somebody said the war is over,
Somebody said the war is over,
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor.
Tears burning in the mindless eyes
Watching for the day of human rights,
Fear, is the new law of the land,
When love is ruled insane and children are defiled.
Many people live to hide behind dividing lines,
It’s tooth for tooth, eye for eye, till all are
blind.
Did you see the morning papers? Do you know the score?
Would you like to make an estimate? How many more?
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor!
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor!
Somebody said the war is over,
Somebody said the war is over,
Somebody said the war is over,
Don’t you believe, it’s only rumor.
The
Decision (lyrics and
music: Brian Holloway)
If
the moon cracked in the night
And my eyes gave out no light,
Oh, I wonder, would you still,
Could you still,
Would you still touch me,
Touch me.
If
I lost all my money
And all I had to spend was myself,
Would you think it sad or funny
Looking this way,
Would you still love me,
Love me.
If
the moon cracked in the sky
And the time was the time to die,
Would you trembled, would you cry
Will you lie here,
Would you still love me,
Me.
If
the moon cracked in the sky
If the moon cracked in the sky
If the moon cracked in the sky
If
the moon cracked in the sky…
The
Prisoner (lyrics and
music: Raymond Vincent - Glenn Shorrock)
Are people
only for using?
How can the rose of truth expect to satisfy his feel,
Daylight troubles the loser
Before the sword was drawn the plans were made for digging a grave.
Shadows of things that could take my life away,
Taking the time to sharpen the cutting blade,
Gone is today, we long for yesterday.
Send for the jailer to bring us a candle light,
Something to help us through the night.
And when it’s over, is it the end of pain?
Shall we return to earth again?
Prisoner! There's a message from the governor,
It says, there’s no aggrieve.
Hero, you’re no different from the rest of us,
Now down on your knees.
Rescue, written with silence,
And in the night the terror lady comes to laugh in my face.
Demons greet me this morning,
And made the song of silver birds sweet in my ear.
Shadows of things that could take my life away.
Taking the time to sharpen the cutting blade.
Gone is today, we long for yesterday.
Oh, my cell is overcrowded,
Send the priest away,
Oh, my cell is overcrowded,
Send the people away......
